Issue#1050: iPhone 6: Error 4005 itunes restore

  • Hello,

I just had a little question. Some days ago I dropped my iPhone 6 and broke my screen but the problema is that it does not turn on. The only thing that it does is that turns on the screen in a dark blue color and turns off. When I try to restore it does appear the Apple logo but then it gives error 4005. I already have changed computer, usb cables, usb ports, updating itune and none of that worked. I was hoping if somebody knew a hardware solution for this.

    Thank you,

    Ubaldo

  • Issue#12526: iPhone 4: Error 4005 Wont boot up but shows up in Itunes (DFU)

My Wife's iPhone 4 up and quit a few weeks ago. No signs of life on the charger or in iTunes. The dock connector was pretty corroded so I replaced that and the battery with no results. If I put it in DFU mode , it will show up in iTunes but gives me an error 4005 when trying to restore. I metered the charging fuses on the logic board and they seem OK. I'm guessing that would leave the charging IC ? Or am I looking at something else on the Logic Board as the cause? ⟐ Commented January 27, 2016 at 1:13 am -0700

  • Issue#51303: iPhone 5s: iPhone 5S Stuck in recovery mode : iTunes restore error 50

Hi, I bought an iPhone off eBay germany. It always gives the same restore error in iTunes : "The iPhone [iPhone] could not be restored. An unknown error occurred [error 50]." Anyone got a idea how to get the iPhone to work? I've tried 2 different computers with firewall off, different USB ports, different cables but keep getting this error at around 65% of the restore process. I've tried restoring in the DFU mode too, still the same error pops up. I read somewhere it might be the Baseband IC which needs to be replaced. Would replacing the Qualcomm MDM9615M help? Anyone who has had the same issue or knows about it? Kinldy help me out of this. Haris ⟐ Commented February 2, 2016 at 12:11 pm -0700

So, I tried to restore my IPhone 5. Everything worked flawless, until the point "waiting for iPhone" appears. Then nothing happens for like 2 Minutes and then the Error 4005 pops up. What I've tried: - Restoring without display - Removing battery Should I remove other things while restoring? Is maybe a part broken? • Issue#320787: iPhone 6: My iPhone 6 wont restore. Error 1005 - possible hardware issue

HI I have an iphone 6 and it crashed whilst using an app. It previously had pop-up notifications saying that I needed to update the system to os9 - I didnt get around to this. Eventually the phone had the "connect to itunes" message. When I plugged the iphone into my mac it first showed an error of not being able to update and that it need a full restore. It failed to restore (error 27) and then when I tried again again I got the 1005 error message. I took the phone into an Apple store and they said they couldnt fix it. They took out the battery and tried to restart it - no joy. My phone is now just showing the itunes message. - Is there any way of fixing the issue myself? Kind regards, Livvy

  • Issue#815798: iPhone 6 Plus: stuck in dfu with itunes error 4005

Ok so nearly two weeks ago i plugged my phone into the headphone jack of some old stereo system my uncle has, i was trying to set it up and in the process the phone fell out of my hand, i was sitting down so it was about a 2-3 foot drop. i picked the phone up and it was on the boot up screen (white background and Black apple), it was taking abnormally long to boot up so i held the home and power button, which i now know was a TERRIBLE idea. fast forward to the present and the phone is stuck in DFU mode, when i try to restore it the screen turns on with a black background and white apple and then iTunes gets stuck on "waiting for iPhone" and gives me the error 4005. I've tried changing the USB cable, changing the USB port, using a different windows PC and even a mac, all with the latest version of iTunes and no it was not a host file thing. I've tried every software solution that my research has brought me and the problem still persists so that leads me to believe it's a hardw

Hello, I have a iphone 6 with broken home button flex ripped and broken screen. I tried sending it in to apple, but they refused the repair (even payed repair) unless i paid more then i would pay for a new phone. I read on some forum that doing a restore on a iphone 6 / 6+ on which the original home button / flex is damaged, the recovery will get stuck at 50% and give error 53 in itunes and remain stuck in recovery mode forever. Currently the iphone contains data of the previous owner, but i am affraid to do a restore, since i probably will get a bricked device... Anyone has experiece on a iphone 6 with replaced home button? Error 53 is not listed anywhere and i cannot find any guides or info besite take it back to Apple store, but thats not an option. Anyone know how to fix this? Also if the iPhone is water damaged. However, i haven't found an anwser for the problem yet. I've triede to restore, hardreset, DFU restore, change homebotton and restore, restore without homebotton, restore with original homebotton, Logicboard in test cabinet and restore. Nothing helps. Hello, I bought a broken iPhone 5S. It was not possible to charge the battery. So at first, I replaced the lightning connector with success, iTunes recognized the phone. I tryed to recover it but without sucess. Then I tryed other configurations. The screen/display is faulty. I only see strips and some colours. So I disconnected the screen unit, changed the battery (not the same APN), disconnected the cable with the power button and the rear camera. I also interchanged the logic board with another iPhone but all without sucess. Everytime I got error 2009 or 4005. Error 2009 if I disconnect the rear camera + display unit. Error 4005 with the other battery and with display unit. I have no idea what I can do now. :(
