  • Issue#6776: Lenovo v470 - Intel Graphics Drivers Issue

I'm having display issues with my v470 laptop when I install Intel Graphics drivers. After few mins of using the laptop, the display gets distorted and locks up the laptop. I have to power off the laptop every time. I tried installing the Intel Onbroad Graphics drivers that's available from Lenovo's website. I also try install the latest Intel HD Graphics 3000 drivers from Intel website. I ran memtest successfully without any errors.  The odd part is whenever I uninstall the Intel Graphics drivers the issue goes away.  This is how the display looks - Specs: i5 2410M8 gigs RAMWin 7 Ultimate x64 Any help would be appreciated. Hi - I'm struggling to get a webGL build to look good on a retina screen. According to the canvas style sets the window points while the width/height attributes define the drawing buffer size. In practice setting the w/h as 2x the style w/h results in the unity content being drawn in 1/4 of the screen. Is there any way to get a Unity WebGL build looking good on a retina screen?

Hi Guys, This is Karan. I'm running on Ubuntu 15.10 Willy Werewolf, ASRock H81 PRO BTC Mobo, Intel Pentium G3258 4th Generation Haswell Processor that claims to bundle 4th Gen. Intel Extreme Graphics. I'm dual booting Ubuntu 15.10 with Windows 10 both on separate HDDs. I'm playing graphics intensive games on Windows and I've installed Intel Graphics from Intel's own website leading to Intel Graphics Installer for Linux. After taking much time, the app displayed success message and asked a reboot. I did reboot and initial boot screen display was at about 640x480 resolution and then switched back to original 1024x768 resolution during boot and logged in as usually. I didn't noticed anything different from Ubuntu without Intel Graphics and/or with Intel Graphics. Next I ran, VMWare Workstation 12 and Installed Windows 8.1 x86 guest OS in it. I enabled 3D Support in settings but when I booted the VM, it displayed and error message that No 3D Support is available from Host OS... Did I did

  • Issue#73393: Intel - NUC6i5SYH Audio Driver Issue on Windows 10

I recently purchased a NUC6i5SYH and have installed Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. I'm using 16GB (2x8) HyperX DDR4 Ram and the Samsung SM951 256GB NVMe SSD.BIOS  version is 33. The NUC is attached to a BenQ FullHD Monitor via HDMI out, which has speakers built in. I have installed the latest Graphics drivers as well as the Realtek Audio drivers. Each time when I boot the device, I get a red X symbol on the speaker icon in the task bar telling me that no audio device was found. When I click on it, Windows identifies the issue and prompts me to restart. When I do that, the speaker is recognized and I can hear the audio boith via HDMI and the Audio jack.Next time I boot, I get the exact same issue again. How can I fix that?I already tried uninstalling the Realtek audio driver, which doesn't make any difference.

  • Issue#75634: Intel NUC6i3 with Intel HD 520 audio over HDMI issue

Hi, I got some frustrating issues with my Intel HD 520 and Audio via HDMI / mDP. [Description]The Audio over HDMI just stops/breaks under some circumstances: 1. Starting some games in fullscreen will instantly break audio over HDMI / mDP. Window Mode works just fine.2. Using Kodi in Fullscreen when switchin between different refresh rates (24p, 50p, 60p). It can happen after some videos or even after just one video. There is no error or anything reported back to me. After this issue happend the software will hang / stutter and freezes when closed down. Some games work just fine for hours without any issues. I've got no idea why that is. When starting the Game "Faster than Light" in fullscreen sound breaks 100% of all times.Playing some old backups of my GameCube games with Dolphin emulator and DirectX as Renderer will also lead 100% to this issue. The Games "Kerbal Space Program" and "Dead Space 1" worked always without any issues.  [Hardware]Its

  • Issue#160314: Intel - NUC 6i5SYH hardware issue causes reboot loop

Last night I ran into a hardware issue that makes my brand new 6i5SYH NUC unusable. Please, advise!  The full story.  Preamble: I got new Skylake NUC in the end of January. BIOS version was 0028. I put inside 2 x 8GB Kingston HyperX Impact DDR4 2133 MHz, and Samsung EVO 850 M.2 500GB. I installed Windows 10 Pro 64bit, but changed group policy not to install updates w/o my review. Then I updated BIOS to 0033. And everything worked well for ~3 weeks. The only thing I could complain, that monitor didn't wake from sleep (on DP), so I had to disable sleep mode completely.   Problem: Yesterday I noticed that WiFi on NUC cannot connect to the Internet, although all other laptops, tablets and phones in house could. Then NUC unexpectedly rebooted. Then, right from logon screen rebooted again, and entered the endless reboot loop. Every couple of reboots it displayed recovery screen, so I was able to try all recovery procedures MS offers. Nothing helped. The biggest

Hello everyone! I just started putting together my new machine, and every was looking fine. I plugged everything up, turned it on and it posted! Awesome. The BIOS pop up for about 3 seconds, then the computer shuts off. Weird, but it turns back on. However, nothing is showing up and the Q-CODE LED is flashing a bunch of things while my CPU LED and DRAM LED blink back and forth. Look in the book and it seems like something to google. Here are some things I have already tried in my search; Remove CMOS battery for 5 minutes. Press CLR CMOS button. Check for bent CPU pins. Put one RAM in furthest slot from CPU Put one RAM in 3rd slot. Only connect the essentials to the motherboard and power on. Unplug for three hours and come back. Try new RAM. • Issue#182935: Hardware - Intel Xeon mITX build

I've begun buying parts for this build. Budget's just $800 for now. Primarily, this PC is a Handbrake factory. I hope the build can convert 720p .mkv videos into 720p .mp4 videos in 2.5 minutes each with an average conversion rate of 200+fps. Will the E3-1246V3 and DDR3 16GB RAM be able to work with Handbrake?? Once DOOM 2016's Official System Specs come around, the budget will increase to accommodate a GTX 970 and/or other parts in order to play the game. I have no plans to overclock, no 4K and can hope to play today's games in at least 60fps and normal 1080p. Well, please help, find whatever doesn't work and thank you very much!!

  • Issue#188579: Asus - New build issue - resolution

Hi all, I've just completed a new build, specs as follows: Rampage V 5960x H110i cooler 32GB Dominator AX1500i PSU Samsung 950 512GB SSD 2 x 3TB WD Black Cav HDD's 3 x Titan X SC GPU's Lotsa fans 3 x Sony Bravia 4K LCD's OC Panel Now, my problem is regarding resolution of the 3 displays. I can get 4K on 2 of them but the 3rd is always locked to 1080P. After many hours on Live Chat with Nvidia reinstalling driver, reconfiguring settings, checking on connections etc I've narrowed it down to the first GPU PCIe lane on the motherboard. I did this by removing the other GPU's and checking each one in the first lane, turning the PC back on then checking the resolution. Unfortunately each card was locked at 1080P. The cards accept 4K with no problems in the other to PCIe lanes. Can anyone come up with an idea why this is happening? BIOS changes needed maybe? Bear in mind I'm a total newbie as this is my first build and PC I've done/had. Thanks in advance

  • Issue#191021: Geforce - New build - screen resolution/recognition issue

Hi people, Long time reader first time poster. I've just completed my first build, specs as follows: Rampage V 5960X 32GB Dominator ddr4 512GB Samung 950 SSD 3 X Titan X gpu's Heaps of cooling 3 X Sony Bravia 49" 4K LCD's Windows 10 The problem I'm having is when 1 or 2 displays are connected 4K resolution can be selected on both. When the 3rd is connected this locked to 1080P. Now, when I select 1080P for all 3 one of the displays is super zoomed in and when I attempt use SLI or surround the resolution is obviously 5760x1080 plus mega zoomed in. Putrid to say the least. I've tried all combinations of monitor plug-ins from the hardware page, re-install drivers and GeForce experience, enabled and disabled SLI and surround but to no avail. I'm hoping someone may point me in the right direction as I'm totally lost. Thanks in advance....

  • Issue#196094: Intel - Windows 10 v1115 Update Issue

Hello: I'm really hoping that somebody can help me figure out why the update won't allow me to pick another volume to save the file to. It states that there isn't enough space (it needs 11.8 GB). However, when I select an external HDD and hit Refresh it tells me that I need another 8.99 GB free on C. I also tried saving to the microSD to no avail. Odder yet is that when I go to the Programs Control Panel it states that there is a total of only 1.11 GB of programs installed, and I haven't even had the opportunity to save any files internally yet so how would I even be able to delete an additional 8.99 GB (C says that 8.91 GB is free)? The only things on this PC right now are: iTunes (media is on an external HDD), Evernote, Chrome, Norton, VeraCrypt, Tresorit, and iCloud. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Please HELP. Thanks! Model: STK1AW32SCBIOS: 0019Windows 10 v. 1511, 10586
