Issue#543631: Unity - [SOLVED] Custom Splashscreen in PRO version

  • Hello! I have a quick question about the customization possibilities of the splashscreen with the Unity PRO version.

Is it possible to have an animation running (Unity made animation or externally made video scene) or is a static image the only option for the splashscreen?

THX very much in advance and all my best,

  • Issue#1031455: Unity - [Solved] Custom 2D Light System issue

Hello everyone, I made a custom 2D light system in Unity and as I don't want everything to be affected by the light I made the lightmap before the actual rendering and apply with a custom shader to specified objects. After this step I bumped into the problem that if it is placed inside the OnPreRender function, it is rendered as a really small image (and upside down) into the RenderTexture(see the attached file). From the looks of it looks like a camera problem, but I could not figure out... [Solved] Custom 2D Light System issue

People were angry about it "not being fixed" to this date in the comments. I got a reply from QA Team saying that this issue is fixed but the fix did not get included in the previous patches. • Issue#62716: Unity - [Solved] Diagonal movement speed issue

Hello. I am attempting to move my player up, down, left, and right on a 2d plane. However, I was getting what is apparently a common issue where diagonal movement was compounded by 2 different vectors equalling more than 1. The solution, apparently, is to normalize the vectors and then use those normalized vectors to move the object at the end of the function. The problem I am having now is that I can no longer move up or down, it only allows me to move left or right, and I can't figure out... [Solved] Diagonal movement speed issue

  • Issue#130373: Unity - Custom Terrain Shader Normal Map Issue?!!

I've been developing a custom terrain shader in Unity. And I've been having problems with my normal maps. Even after hours of fiddling I still haven't fixed it yet. There are 2 noticeable issues: 1. Normal maps don't appear on vertices whose normal points towards the X axis 2. Normals just don't appear "correct", as in they're faint, and don't look as good as standard terrain normals. The following pictures should help illustrate my point: View attachment 174012 Unity's standard... Custom Terrain Shader Normal Map Issue?!!

Hi! I'm currently working on a 2D game where the hookshot is one of the main gameplay element/mechanic. The grappling will draw the player toward the end point, a bit like link grappling hook. It's working but it is not precise. There is an issue. The line of the raycast does not have the same angle of the line renderer I'm using as a grappling. I've been looking for what's wrong with this code for a while but can't get my head around it. • Issue#744629: Include which Unity beta version contains the fix in Issue Tracker

Currently when an issue in the Issue Tracker is fixed it says "Fixed in Unity 5.4.0". But it doesn't say in which specific beta version. I don't know if the issue is already included in a past beta version or scheduled for a future release. It's possible to look up the issue ids in the Beta Release Notes, but I think it'd also be helpful to show the specific Unity beta version in the Issue Tracker.

I'm writing my custom property drawer for my shaders. And I suddenly discovered an odd issue: if I select multiple materials with the same shader, then properties using this drawer will be auto-set with the same value - a value from the 1st selected material.
